Specifically, it allows components and materials to be annotated with product information (eg, dimensions). The annotations can then be harvested from (say) kitchen designs to produce schedules of cabinets, faucets, tile, etc.<br /><br />The 3D Warehouse contains several thousand annotated models and any SketchUp user can add more.
